Antique Car Show 9- 4:30

Pioneer Antique Auto Club's judged show of vintage automobiles on the museum grounds. Food available for purchase. Admission.

Saturday, July 24
Coopering for Kids 10:00-11:30 AM (ages 10-up, 10 participants)

Learn how coopers supplied the oil industry with wooden casks to store and ship oil. Try your hand at assembling a coopered cask, make a miniature collage of cooper's wares, and roll a barrel hoop. Lots of activity and projects to take home. $5.00 materials fee.

Saturday, August 7
Blacksmithing Workshop 9:00-12:00AM &1:00-4:00PM

(Adults; two sessions, 4 students each session morning and afternoon)
Apprentice blacksmiths will make a brass/iron spatula using basic techniques and traditional tools and techniques. The spatula that will be made is a functional and decorative addition to any home. No previous experience necessary. Workshops are open to adults 18 years and older.
$15.00 registration plus $5:00 materials fee.

Saturday, September 18
Fall Gas Up Engine Show 9:00 -5:00 PM

Restored antique engine displays on museum grounds. Food available for purchase. Admission.

Museum staff will maintain waiting lists for additional classes if interest is high and staff is available. Adults attending children's activities may be asked to help with the program if needed.

Admission charged as noted in program or event description. Workshop and materials fees for classes must be pre-paid.
